Nancy brings a decade of ever-evolving practice and over 1,500 hours of training in integrative yoga therapy, trauma informed yoga, bhakti yoga, and tantra yoga to aspiring yoga teachers and healers.
Nancy first came to yoga in 2008 while attending Albright College and became increasingly interested in exploring yoga's therapeutic applications in the mental health field. After earning her BS degree in Psychology, Nancy went on to study Integrative Yoga Therapy and Trauma Informed Yoga Therapy with Genevieve Yellin at Sundara Yoga Therapy. In 2014 she completed a year long Bhakti Yoga lifestyle Immersion with Prahlada-Nrsimha das and in 2017 a 300 hour Tantra Yoga teacher training with Danielle Dulsky. She is now pursuing certification as a Professional Yoga Therapist with Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy.
Her integrative teaching style aims to help others explore yoga's capacity for facilitating deep self-knowing, personal transformation, and spiritual awakening.
Bekah has been studying yoga and shamanic practices since 2003. Certified at the 200 hour level by White Lotus Foundation in 2004, she is also a relax and renew restorative yoga trainer through Judith Hansen Lasater since 2008, holds a BA in Transpersonal Psychology/Liberal Arts and is currently in the process of completing her 300 hour advanced training with Danielle Dulsky and her MA in Transpersonal Ecopsychology from Naropa University. She is also an ordained minister. Bekah attended the very first "Off the Mat, into the World," training with Seane Corn, Hala Khouri and Suzanne Sterling in 2007 and Yoga as activism holds a prominent place in her journey. Bekah's other passion is embodied awakening and her classes, events and trainings are infused with natural cycles, ancient wisdom, modern methodologies and a commitment to integrated transformation on both personal and planetary levels.
